Ecobuild

London ExCel exhibition centre opened its doors to visitors once again. This time it was hosting world’s biggest event on sustainable design, construction and build environment called ECOBUILD. Two huge halls were filled with over 1300 exhibitors, which made this year the biggest ever yet.

Solar PV sector had   its stronghold in the North hall. Big manufacturers like SHARP, SANYO, MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC and SHOTT took advantage of the space and displayed the newest or the most popular solar panels they have on offer.

Ecobuild wasn’t only about exhibiting; it was about education as well. Over 130 free seminar was like well of knowledge ready to satisfy thirsty listeners who were pouring in to the seminar rooms, many times standing outside because there wasn’t enough space to accommodate all. Speeches were given on different topics including Feed in Tariffs, Sustainability, Development of UK Solar Photovoltaic Market and many more.

This year was very exciting because of all changes caused by Feed in Tariffs and its influence on solar PV market. Excitement was definitely in the air on Ecobuild exhibition and we at Sunfox Energy want to say thank you to organizers for promoting sustainable living and educating the public.
